In the first hours after the start of the first two vehicles took over from Chip Ganassi Racing, the lead and drove all the prototypes in a certain respectful distance behind each other. After nearly 3 hours and the first Cautions the tide turned and the # 60, piloted at the time of Justin Wilson, was leading the race, close behind was the # 9 of Action Express Racing and # 3 # 8 of Starworks Motorsports.
