Indy 500: Drama Anniversary

Over long distances, the anniversary edition of the Indy 500 caused mainly by poor TV transmission and vast quantities of advertising. In the finale, the race turned out but still as rich in history.

This year there is something new. All members of the writing team have created a list in which they Tellen out the season and their personal highlights. The fall, of course, depending on the gravity of something different.

Best race
That's always a bit difficult, because it was not exactly a few races, you could see. The F1 supplied from some really good racing, the ALMS and the BTCC as well. My personal highlight this, as in previous years, were the 24H of Le Mans, which was far above all in the GT2 in the morning extremely exciting and where Porsche, Corvette and Ferrari battled bumper to bumper for the win. One should also not forget the 24H at the ring, where there was a failure to orgy with a BMW a surprising winner.

On the short haul should the F1 race in Canada have been the best.

The BTCC offers almost every race in considerable tension, but the last lap of the third race at Croft was then quite impressive.

/ / According to information from the FAZ , the Volkswagen Group to the entry into Formula 1 has chosen. Neither one will compete with its own team to supply other teams with engines. IRL: 2010 Infineon Raceway Preview

A little late and time today in an abbreviated form of a look at the IRL race at Sonoma.

The IRL season is still far from over, but you've reached the last third of the season. With the race near San Francisco are still just 5 runs to complete, so there are not so many points, you can collect. ALMS, LMS and IRL: Preview 2009

On weekends, the LMS and the IRL are beginning a new season with many question marks. The ALMS runs her second race, but where there is no better.

NASCAR: DEI / Ganassi merger II

So slowly becoming clear just how the DEI / Ganassi merger team looks to new EGR. And the more details come out, the more it smells like it, that's actually not a merger but a takeover by DEI Ganassi. What should also be a reason why there is still no information about whether they will now go with Dodge or Chevy engines at the start. Clearly, the role of quasi-DEI, the team that will have its headquarters at DEI not, but at Ganassi. The two teams are different but retain headquarters, but the chassis can be serviced at Ganassi and manufactured. According to U.S. reports, it is currently not planned that each team half their engines continue to prepare themselves, but what really makes little sense. There is no word on whether they will continue to work with RCR.
