Here are the first pictures of the RB8. Right now, the media side of Red Bull does not work, follow the HQ pictures!
What ever notice: Red Bull is in stage one air inlet to the monocoque. This should go off the speculation, which has verbrigt behind. When air is passed through the chassis to the rear? Or to the coolers from the KERS, which last year was very susceptible to heat? Adrian Newey has definitely provided a talking point again.

I come from so stupid in the last days. can someone explain what is to come to the steps at the front end of the monoshells beneficial for?
apart from the effective repellent for rain.
@ malefue :
A "function" is not the level itself. It comes from the fact that the FIA has been reduced for 2012, the maximum allowable height for the front of the nose by about 12 cm, while the permitted height of the front part of the monocoque remains the same.
The reason for the rule change is that the FIA sees a danger that in recent years may enter become higher and higher noses at some impact angles into the cockpit, so the reduction which has been solved, but just a little unhappy.
The stage is because most teams but still high on the nose to get too much air under the car. Only McLaren's going a different route with a lower overall vehicle, so lacking in which the stage.
and the air resistance of the angle is negligible? For me as a layman that looks first like a new vortex generator creates additional problems only.
@ malefue :
Apparently it is seen by most teams, so that the bumps inflicts less damage than aerodynamic ne generally lower nose. Only McLaren is there ne other opinions. Let's see who's right :)
The total ne interesting question whether the concept works of low chassis for McLaren. It looks better, sure, but low chassis in the past have never worked very well, because you do not get enough air under the car. In terms of aerodynamics, the stage makes sure of something, it's definitely a resistance in the wind, on the other side: What advantage can be drawn from it. The idea with the air scoop of Red Bull is not bad. If it works, everyone else has a problem, because the scoop is a part of the monocoque. One would have to build a new order to achieve the same effect that would be mean but also a new crash test and exploding costs. It is true, even if Ferrari and Red Bull is no longer in the FOTA, the legally independent of the FOTA agreement to reduce costs.
I have noticed that the failure of the cooling openings in the side boxes RB8 bit bigger than the competition. So the air intake will have nothing to do with the cooling. In theory it could be a passive Q-duct system for the front wing, when the air is passed through the nose to the front wing. But there are no openings in the pictures (which must mean nothing) and the system has been found not so great friends.
@ DonDahlmann
Would make me your agent has no worries and thoughts.
RB knows what to do and so are the questions and speculations, I think, unnecessary.
But to each his own.
And again to all F1-EXPERTS, let you pay for, for your advice.
