Formula Preview - busy weekend

After the unfortunate weekend in Budapest GP2 and GP3 return at Spa back onto the track. If that's not enough, the wave at the weekend also had live broadcasts from a few niche series.

So fast it works: Just the GP2 season has only just begun - there is already back finals at the door. Only Spa, Monza and the new date somewhat incongruous season finale in Abu Dhabi on the program. This is especially pleased Pastor Maldonado: The Venezoelaner has this season after years of Durtstrecke finally shown what it can do - and is three laps to go already 26 points ahead of his title rivals worst Sergio Perez. Similarly, the case appears clearly in the GP3: There will Esteban Gutiérrez already with 30 points ahead of Robert Wickens. And because the GP3 yet to decide their season already in Monza, the title is probably really just a formality. Well, then, that at least the track at Spa promises excitement.

Formula One: Spa 2010 Preview

The three-week mandatory break in Formula One is over and the program is a true classic.

To spa is shrouded in myths and many traditions. The track in Belgium is one of the few classics that have remained in the calendar of Formula One. What other route has been changed in the last 20 years almost? Of course, sometimes built in a lot of spa. The Eau Rouge was defused, at many points you have installed handle larger run-off areas. Last disappeared the bus stop chicane and made a not elegant, but practical solution space. This year you will also have paved the Les Combes chicane after the Kemel-line skirts and fitted so as not too much shortens. Beautiful it is, but the bumpy grass at Les Combes was severely dangerous. But all in all, spa is just still spa. You can see at the track to compete for the nature around, and was not built purely in them. It goes up and down, it is sometimes narrow and of course it's raining like in the Ardennes. Spa makes even fun if the race is somewhat mau.
