The British Touring Car series awakened from sleep and the summer starts at Snetterton in the second half of the season.
One is inclined to get rid of a sigh: Finally we go again. The BTCC has a fairly long summer break and indulged himself took a break. That does not mean that you have been sitting in the meantime. The teams have been tested vigorously, interestingly, at Snetterton where the race takes place on the weekend. The two-day session in mid-July saw a much improved, especially Chevrolet Cruze, with Jason Plato indeed was supposed to win the championship. Thus one could have imagined, after all, the Cruze in the BTCC is identical with that which will start in the championship. What else would be as the title of the supposed small BTCC so disappointing. But they had not reckoned with Honda and Ford.
