BTCC: Snetterton preview 2010

The British Touring Car series awakened from sleep and the summer starts at Snetterton in the second half of the season.

One is inclined to get rid of a sigh: Finally we go again. The BTCC has a fairly long summer break and indulged himself took a break. That does not mean that you have been sitting in the meantime. The teams have been tested vigorously, interestingly, at Snetterton where the race takes place on the weekend. The two-day session in mid-July saw a much improved, especially Chevrolet Cruze, with Jason Plato indeed was supposed to win the championship. Thus one could have imagined, after all, the Cruze in the BTCC is identical with that which will start in the championship. What else would be as the title of the supposed small BTCC so disappointing. But they had not reckoned with Honda and Ford.

DTM Nürburgring 2010 Preview

The DTM finished their summer break, but what moves behind the scenes, is more exciting than some races. And then there are a surprising message from the Italian superstar series.

DTM Nürburgring, and - as push two things together that are currently in a crisis. On the ring it turns out that the new buildings, along with the completely unnecessary "Eifeldorf" are buffeted by financial scandals. The SWR recently had a depressing documentary about the machinations behind the scenes, Wilhelm Hahne published in a forthcoming book about the background of the pompous business. Hahnemann had to endure a search on him because he was too critical reports on the business at the ring. I myself, who used almost every weekend at the Ring, am divided when it comes to new buildings.
