NASCAR: Daytona Review

The last race weekend on the old asphalt offered again all the excitement that the fans expect from Daytona.

On Friday we were off to the Nationwide race, which offered two special features: the first appearance of the new Nationwide Car of Tomorrow and the last of Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a car with the # 3, in blue and yellow Wrangler design, that his father left before he moved to the even more famous black Goodwrench.

The sporting value of the race is a little doubtful but it was junior still refused to lead on lap 3, as the fans stretch in memory of Dale Sr. three fingers to the sky, but in the closing laps, give it him, and gave up serious attacks, Brad Keselowski, who had had a chance to win, put back in favor of the Sentimental Favorite, and there was much joy and many tears.

WTCC / DTM: Analysis Portimao / Norisring

While the WTCC races handed in two crisp, there was at Norisring boredom. Provided for the WTCC, the most incomprehensible "Racecontol" decision of the weekend.

Since I have strong views located next to it. I had seen the seat in the top 5, but not with a double victory. After all, the seat 20 kilos more than the BMW charged, and the combination of front wheel drive, hot line and sounded too much torque does not come cheap. But somehow conjure up the seat then produced more power than you think. But it is incomprehensible how the more or less squeezed out old Leon still more horsepower than from the new Cruze. BMW was not expected to go bad, but the ravages of time but then the 320 si.
