NASCAR: Analysis Loundon I 2010

I wish I could write even go there: öööööööööde. That's my side, I'll do it too.

There are tracks in the NASCAR season, they are like air travel. 99% totally bored when what happens is then added 1% of total terror. So what in the past Loundon. By lap 280, the race was splashing in different states as if to himself, then after that it was thanks to two caution periods as times are still interesting. It must thus giving race every weekend, can not let the sparks fly and NASCAR. It would be helpful, however, if the transmitting station will not have commercial breaks between total hysteria and incompetent commentators swing back and forth would be.

The mere statistics of the race says it all. Four interruptions, the last two in the last 20 laps. In between there were fewer than 210 laps under green. On a 1 miles oval with 12 degree banking, which has only two real lines and only one that can overtake you on. This makes clear why the front has done nothing.

First, Montoya was his pole position into a strong leadership to implement. The EGR Chevy was how clean and remained in second place, Kasey Kahne, came only in the vicinity of the Colombian, as the stuck in traffic. After the first break after 36 laps because of debris Kahne took the lead, while Montoya was behind it. And then came the long, long green phase in which did not too much. For Montoya, who had a good placement with his chances of the chase can maintain, however, things went backwards. They had apparently beat with the changes to the car and got the not so well under control, that could have been something to change. Since it was only every 70 to 75 laps in the pits, Montoya had to live with the problems, which meant that he uses hands, feet and wings to all the colleagues struggled behind him.

As usual, he overdid it a bit and came along with Jeff Gordon. Which is obviously not just the whim of the nice neighbor next door to play. In Sonoma, he already admitted each out of the way, who stood in his way, he stopped in Loundon then against it. At the end of Montoya's Splinter looked at the left corner was sad to heaven and the rest of the field than he is. That he just ran circles around the Reed Sorenson was then sent into the wall, then the crowning of his modest race.

Kasey Kahne had a long front, the Petty's Ford had apparently set on the best on the track. Behind him are arranged according to the pit stop, Kurt Busch and Jeff Burton one. It did nothing for a long wuirklich. The only one who showed once again Dale Earnhardt Jr. had had to start from position 31, but soon was in the top ten. After that, his forward momentum, however, was also terminated. But after all, was once a little to see of him and his eighth place finish brought him again within reach of the Chase.

Kahne could have had a fairly quiet afternoon, would not he croaked his engine. The turn brought safely to the top of Jeff Burton, but Burton contributed to a bad Stragiefehler. Once on lap 283 Sorenson and Montoya were rattled against each other, remained at his not very fresh tires instead of going out of the box. But that all went behind him and he was then restarted at the famous "sitting duck". The field was flying past him and then he also clashed with Kyle Busch prior to final 10 laps.

After all, NASCAR still had such a shootout that would decide between Kurt Busch and the like appearing out of nowhere Jimmie Johnson. Johnson won the restart before the final eight laps, but Busch was gnawing at his bumper. Seven laps to go, he pushed the NASCAR champion in the usual manner gently out of the way and sought his safety in flight. That seemed to work, but really far away, he did not come. Johnson ran over and bit her bush admitted his part with a little slap back left out of the way. Nothing unfair, the classic "beatin 'and bangin'." After the matter was then eaten and finished the race in record time 2:48 hrs.

If a race has been rather bad, then, the commentators powerfully bend over backwards. FOX can thanks to Mike Joy, Larry McReynolds and Darrell Waltrip quite well, TNT can with Adam Alexander, Wally Dallenbach and Kyle Petty is not. Alexander is only a medium-good cues, Dallenbach and Petty talk around his neck. Above all, Kyle Petty, the world has with unbearable platitudes. Larry McReynolds has to be inexplicably at the "cut-away car" and he must show now and then a few technical details. After all - the government will not only look forward, but also tries to fight back in the box to find. It was just that rare.

To make matters worse, the race is interrupted in the middle part usually every 10 laps, or about every 4 to 5 minutes with a commercial break. Or put another way: 160 minutes race time - 59 minutes of advertising. Half of fairness we should also mention that TNT shows the Daytona race next week without interruptions during the race. Only if you go to a break Caution.

Nevertheless, the work of TNT this year is not good. The advertisement is inconveniently located, the commentators remain pale or have, like last week at the race circuit, quite simply do not know. Would be almost inclined to say: "I'm looking forward to ESPN," if you do not have to remember how bad they are.

When it comes to Chase at the moment it looks like this:

Front should be all clear, but the back is tight. One can not take the points at the top too seriously, in the Chase are well known, the more victories. And it was Jimmie Johnson more than enough. He was after his little weakness now come back into the roles, it looks like the fifth title in a row more than good. The moment not just in their best shape of moving Mark Martin and Carl Edwards are in the last race before the Chase under tremendous pressure. Junior is back every chance to get into the Chase. There, he would probably tear a lot, but for the audience would not matter. The chances of Clint Bowyer and Ryan Newman, I guess a little weak. Montoya has now 183 points behind in the chase for a place. That would be mighty close, unless the competition semmelt their patrol car at Daytona collective moves to the wall and Montoya in the top 5

I found the last 50 laps actually quite entertaining not only 1% of the race.
Attempts by the Director must demonstrate to the fighting in the midfield have escaped me, the 3 Biggest Mover - so unknown as Stewart, Jr. and a certain Johnson won the surprisingly even then - you have only really got to face when they arrived in the Top 10 were in the top 20 they were already at "up to speed" into the picture, before they were just mentioned. It is these "Through field plowman" should the sender times for events that run as long as increases in green show, if nothing else has happened.

But TNT has moved from advertising to advertise instead gehangelt also try to only partly to report something that entertains you. The dismal start & Parker is mentioned more or less do not know what interest would I have to Pearson says. After all, almost 70,000 dollars have been pocketed per car.

NASCAR had the problem in early times on the screen. You have a hand once the car of an S & P teams confiscated, on the other, made it clear that it will no longer tolerate this "drive 3 laps, then pure" thing. On the other hand, needs to NASCAR, the starting field to make it on TV, at least at the start looks good. The economic situation has not improved, too, which you can see it, that are reported at the weekend in Daytona just 45 cars. Of these, probably six to eight S & P cars. Even if you lock the would - there are no other teams that could run instead.

But with all the criticism of commentators and transmission should already be said that all this is still a long way from the F1. Or not?

    Hmm,

I think the criticism of TNT for a gross exaggeration. Sure, Mike Joy AA suggests a play-by-play host in all areas, but that's the only thing Fox has to offer to TNT as an advantage. I can do without the likes of DW and slobbering "Sunoco racing fuel" Larry Mac. The rest is just too much enspannter, no durchgescriptetes race, solid race Responding to the respective situation. Certainly the last four races last year, with Ralph Sheheen better than play-by-play still NEN tick. But I stand by my opinion, not alone, read on at times dalyplanet Matt McLaughlin and Phil Allaway by frontstrech.com or when. A Hope for ESPN is certainly not an option, despite Marty Reid. The NW-races were so far only marginally better than last year ...
