- It was quite a shock decision, an unexpected one - at the Hungarian Grand Prix we knew nothing. You could feel maybe something because I had a few talks at the Hungaroring about the future and I saw some strange situations. But I was never expecting such a big decision and I think everybody is still a bit worried about their future.
- I think the two weeks were enough time to let it sink in. It definitely came unexpected. Obviously, especially after Honda pulled out and with the worldwide financial situation, I was always careful on trying to see how things were going on in the background.

Formula One: Rules 2010
Today, the new rules for the 2010 season have been published by the FIA. There are a few interesting changes.
As usual, you have the first version of the rules with care. Just a reminder: This year we wanted one more week before the season starts to change the rules again. Since, therefore, can do much. However - the new rules were "part of the deal" with the Concorde Agreement and not much has changed. Two things, however, to fall: on the one hand KERS is part of the regulations, although the FOTA had decided to have KERS fall as seems to have none other than McLaren and Ferrari a reasonable system. Secondly, it increases the Mindesgewicht to 15 kilos, 620 kilos.

NASCAR streams: ustream and justin.tv under pressure
Streams, not only for NASCAR races, are now found on the net to no end. Whether football, motor sports and boxing. Ustream now has trouble because of it.
If you two years ago NASCAR was looking stream, there were barely three addresses in the network on which you could see what. In the meantime services have emerged as justin.tv and ustream.com that allow each to establish its own program. That was actually once "YouTube Live" as a kind of thought so that the user provide their content via webcam on the net. However, users quickly realized that they can feed without much trickery and the live TV program on the net. The platform operator is a double-edged sword. First, they get plenty of traffic to your site, what does the Werbeeinahnen well. In terms of copyright is to the point that they, similar to eBay, only the technical platform is available to do what the user is, their cause. After all, at least in response to Ustream to "illegal" streams, and banished the regular streamer completely from the side. But now Ustream has the first really big action on the neck.

NASCAR and DTM analysis, news
Both series started on routes that have recently provided little tension. But in the U.S., there is the matter with the fuel consumption.
I honestly do not really quite know what to write about the race at the Ring. Even as I wrote yesterday morning for the text that appears P1mag, I had bad time to consider what to do because it was. I mean apart from the crash between Jarvis and Premat and the ugly rear wing fraction of di Resta. Was something in between? Did I miss anything? Perhaps asleep? Now the DTM only partially something that Audi was thinking yesterday as dramatic. The Mercedes had to threaten not even able Winkelhock in fourth place. And, although we still went with the Audi in terms of weight on one level. Norbert Haug was then after the race a bit cautious when it comes to assessing the situation.

Preview: DTM - Nurburgring / BTCC - Knockhill / ALMS - Road America
Not too much going on at the weekend, but Sunday looks pretty well filled.
From a German point of view of the DTM at the weekend should probably be the most interesting event at the Nurburgring. Firstly, from a technical point of view, because the 09er Audi and Mercedes are on the road with the same weight. So you can see who has the advantage. Secondly, I'm curious to fan opinions on the new ring after the race. The system of eating with the "ring-card" and a ban on food brought in the grandstands and in the mill creek loop was previously with F1 races during the Truck Grand Prix at the Oldtimer Grand Prix and active. When the F1 GP and vintage coincided with the foods do not become apparent during the Truck Grand Prix, there were already a lot of trouble. The DTM because of the prices is a family event even more, I'm curious to see how it comes off after the weekend in the forums. Oh, and it's a race too. And quality. But this week it is not live.

NASCAR: Michigan Preview August 2009
This weekend it's back on the racetrack into the Oval when the Sprint Cup race for the second season, competes in Michigan. The June race was won by Mark Martin, who has won so far this season, the most wins.
Since 1969, went to the Michigan International Speedway, and even twice per season. This is the course in Brooklyn, Michigan, one of the few who were once two dates. The August race was not held again in 1973 but since then the track owner Roger Penske is traded in favor of an IndyCar race. Michigan is also the place where Dale Earnhardt Jr. was able to finish two years ago, his long losing streak into a real thriller gasoline finally win a Cup race. Since 1999, the 2-mile oval, which is considered to be sister-track of the Texas World Speedway, and was also used for the construction of the Auto Club Speedway sponsor, for NASCAR's International Speedway Corporation. With a banking of 18 degrees, the oval is steeper and usually more spectacular than the track in California.
