ALMS: New Corvette GT2 pictures CR6

On the fly a few pictures of the new Corvette for the GT2 class

GM announced today the new Corvette GT2 class for the present. After you have filled in the last two years alone, more or less the GT1 class and virtually no competition what way, if one is now worth in the GT2. If the car and the previous success of the Corvette looks like Porsche and Ferrari are then allowed to dress warmly. At BMW, you will probably also come to think about. The ALMS official Twitter account (@ almsnotes) today further spread the rumor that Audi is thinking of bringing the R8 GT2 level. It is therefore fitting that Audi will make this year a lot of time before you will give the racing program for 2010. Instead of November you will have to wait until January.

    Fancy car.

But more importantly: the entry list for the race at Mid-Ohio now includes a total of 26 vehicles, that's really what again. Depending 5 prototypes, 10 GT2 (including 2 of the new Corvettes) and 6-Porsche Challenge.

In this time, the new LMP2 Porsche RS Spyder CytoSport is reported on with Klaus Graf and Greg Pickett tax. It was but recently, Graf would be only the third driver at the Petit Le Mans here. Anyway, it's nice to have one of the RS Spyder here. Let's see what this team can and hybrid Ginetta reach this time.

Too bad that does not live MotorsTV again, but only at 16.08. shows the race. Since you probably need to rely again on Le Mans and speed streams ... :-(

Oh, there you will have to speed on the weekend no luck. There is zero live coverage, NBC, a record on Sunday evening at 20.30 clock shows. Cleverly, parallel to the NASCAR race at Watkins Glen.

Ah, thank you. Then there is probably only radio LeMans ... but that's always very funny.
