Ron Dennis says goodbye completely out of the Formula One team in June and also from the McLaren Group
Only briefly, I complete the rest later: Ron Dennis has today announced that he immediately withdrew from the Formula One team. Previously, he was still nominally the CEO of the team, the team management had but to Martin Whitmarsh as early as 1 Released in March. He also resigned as joint CEO of McLaren Group, the company that come together under the roof of the various activities. His postion takes effect from 1 June Richard Lapthorne. At the same time, "McLaren Automotive" group from the Group will be spun off as an independent subsidiary. Their leadership does Dennis. This department is building in the future McLaren sports cars under the lable, but without the support of Mercedes and AMG. In other words, Ron Dennis leaves McLaren F1 and the team now and will no longer be present at the races. On the likely underlying power struggle I go later in detail.
