Formula One: What is going on at Honda and Renault? / NASCAR News

Do not panic! This is obviously the solution in the former Honda team and among the Japanese themselves. First we wanted the store so fast as possible going on now is, you have time.

honda This can mean two things: either you have found a buyer and finalize the matter now, and Nick Fry and Ross Brawn are set by their management buyout and looking for sponsors. This could mean an even Bernie Ecclestone, for why should he give an advance, Frank Williams, the former Honda team does not? This is still speculation, and accurate, no one knows. Honda continues to hold tight lipped, saying only that it was in no hurry. In any case at the moment.

Of course, the thing with the management buyout, not bad, but I'm still skeptical that the two intend to do that. If you look at how rumkrebst Williams and Renault itself is in trouble, then you have to ask yourself, lift as two plants are very successful, but not the rich people want. Which sponsor may be set at the economic situation has on two or more years?

Speaking of Renault. Not only is the main sponsor ING at the jump, even the new R29 will have a little problem, at least the MSA reported in the timber issue. Apparently you do not really understand what exactly makes the car on the track. What could be a problem, because Renault has laid off many staff you that now might be missing in the development.

But back to the bad start testing: it ought not to be swayed. Last year, the BMW was among the first tests is not really good, but after four weeks had the problem under control. And until the season starts in Australia this year there are even eight weeks. However, it has probably deep worry lines, and if you interpret this correctly, they are not alone with their problems.

In general, the season could be very varied. Apparently there are in the team large differences, who home-think how the tires and if you take the experience from recent years, where at very sophisticated vehicles already won the outdoor temperature is about whether an in-line fuel or five starts, can can be prepared for some.

ING again: They want to reduce not only Renault, but in the entire F1 spending money. Because the Group is also sponsor in Australia, Hungary, Belgium and Turkey. This wobble Australia and Spa course in 2010, should no replacement be found that a similar amount or more hinblättert.

NASCAR - John Andretti with EGR
- EGR has been the fourth driver for Daytona known. It is John Andretti, but there is no EGR team, but a joint venture with Furniture Row Racing, the sponsor itself. Apparently it is planning to contest the entire season. Is still uncertain, the use of Aric Amirola because you have not yet found a sponsor for the entire season.

So with the Honda I do not understand at all. Why would anyone now buy the team where no one ever wanted? Why should at once raise Brawn donors, where is it that has not yet succeeded? Then there is the further, that not really a driving force for the team in sight. The engine has but also affect the design of the entire car. How you want it as soon get everything? To me it looks now look like a hopeless undertaking. The only possibility would be a solution MMN like Force India and McLaren. If someone takes over the store and then have an engine and technology transfer from another team. But since no one offers. Ferrari has already abewunken, although Mercedes has once said that would be willing in principle to supply engines, but a second "Parthnerteam" but also makes little sense. BMW actually only remains for such a solution would make sense. Renault has other worries, and Toyota would have an image problem if they support the former Honda team.

I see similar to the Honda situation looks to me like a repeat of last year's Super Aguri-number. The pseudo-positive water level information (eg grandprix.com: no news == good news), I certainly can not take it seriously, and if someone does not find more than a full account, the team is as dead as the fish sticks in my freezer.

Tip, here's grandprix.com with money from a bailout of the British government. Yes why we do not just go with an A1 government team powered by the taxpayer? McMerkel-Mercedes against the Red Goddess Berlusconi?
