As it is, the new BMW. And in contrast to yesterday's Renault, or Toyota, with its nose high at first glance it looks very unspectacular. One could almost say boring
I was a little disappointed today, tomorrow, when I saw the new BMW. "You even look like a oversized Formula BMW," were my first thoughts. In contrast to Renault yesterday, the BMW is downright boring. However, here one must also pay attention to details a bit and then you see that BMW Sauber definitely makes some things very differently than Ferrari or McLaren, which indeed should be the main opponent in 2009.
The nose of the F1.09 is not so dissimilar from Renault. It is high and what is in the photos because the paint does not look right, and very broad. Since Renault and BMW are also in the idea is not that far apart. However, the nose is down slightly slimmer than the French, but apparently both want to get on the air a certain way under the car and there might even create a negative pressure. Even if the front wing of the BMW as compared with the Williams looks like something simple - BMW is the only team (so far) a three-part front wing. That could change with the other yet. Side below the cockpit you can see a small air deflector, which is apparently allowed. The side pods are very reminiscent of yesterday, Williams, who also have a laterally raised edge. Apparently Williams lying on the right track in terms of aerodynamics. In the rear of the BMW, I noticed that the tail is not so far beiweitem covers how the other team to make, especially Renault. As can I get the feeling that Renault might have discovered what really, but it may well be that without the other team out, because the heat of the KERS batteries better get out.
All in all we see, as mentioned several times, not the final version. I think that will be mainly in the front yet to see many changes. There seems to be critical, how to get the air under the car, or around the car gets, because the slicks and the huge downforce wing is because, as you need. It would be interesting to know whether you can volunteer for smaller wings.
BMW has made it clear that they want to go for the title in 2009. I am very curious if this succeeds in the car.

Seems as if BMW had not only lost a sponsor, Credit Suisse, but also a good part of Intel's contributions.
No wonder they all want to offer us now via Uncle Steinbrück to the checkout.
Dell is also no longer on the car. In any case, as far as I can see it. I've previously at Intel verschaut that hide still on the rear wing ... :)
Would be 2 1/2 sponsors, the BMW would be removed. Hmm, bad or? : P
