The 2008 season is history and it was a lot going on. There were races, the five seconds after launch was due, there were races that were not as exciting as long. There was a lot of trouble to incomprehensible decisions of the Stewarts, there was too much politics behind the scenes, a team that did not survive the year. Although 2007 was not bad, 2008, again up a gear. The World Cup was exciting at all times, the race is not usually predictable. With BMW you finally had sometimes a team that has long annoyed the duo Ferrari / McLaren, but without that you had a serious chance. Here only times the "best" and "worst" list. The individual assessment of the teams and riders will come.
Best driver
Who is there, except for Sebastian Vettel? His start to the season was disastrous (four losses), but after the new chassis was finally, it went off at Torro Rosso and Vettel. Hardly a race in which he did not come to the third qualification session, to the victory at Monza. And all this with a team that depends on a drip of Red Bull. At the end of the 39 points Vettel drove the team in the constructors' championship a whopping 35 points. Bourdais came only two seventh places. What Vettel has shown especially in the rain is phenomenal and reminded them of the very, very big Formula One.
Best team
A decision, which has fallen hard. BMW was certainly a candidate, especially in the first third of the season. Renault is another, especially in terms wass the last half of the season. And then, of course, Toro Rosso, but were not as good, if Red Bull had not been for technology. And after much deliberation I have decided to award the title to McLaren. That may surprise some, but two things have led me to:
First McLaren has been given in the last year a real kick in the groin. To the last race with two drivers the world title virtually in their hands and to lose him again, to the annoyance with Alonso, these are things ever that a team can completely throw off the track. They have not let themselves be swayed and continued to work and has been linked exactly where you left off. This is, above all in terms of motivation in the team, a tremendous achievement.
Second This one has developed one of the best cars and probably the best engine of the year. In terms of engine performance is perhaps not as good as Ferrari, but in terms of durability could beat the Italians. Kovalainen would not have been so weak, you would win the Constructors title can.
You have to recognize whether or not McLaren fan, at least, that the British have really delivered a very good job
Best race:
Monza, Spa and Interlagos. Monza is only being on the list, because Vettel has won since swum. Spa and Interlagos will go down well both in the story, as the race that had the most chaotic final laps.
Worst driver:
Sebastian Bourdais. I really like Bourdais, but he has too little taken out of the car. Torro Rosso could compete even with a cart, and you would, thanks to Vettel, still ahead of Red Bull came out. For that reason alone it must be said, unfortunately, that this year there was hardly a driver who was in a bad way. Piquet was still a candidate, but he had his first season and could take at least 19 points.
Worst team:
Honda. More you do not say. Terrible, which have made themselves. They can be happy that Super Aguri is in between went bankrupt.
Worst race:
Valencia. Incredibly boring ambiance, a worse course, that not even the Porsche Supercup race was exciting. And that's saying something. Please urgently and quickly change course. Or simply replace with something better.
And then the special categories:
Award for the dumbest action of the year:
The prize will be shared equally with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg (Canada). Close second: Kimi Raikkonen and the firing of Sutil (Monaco) and the Ferrari team (Singapore). The latter was just simply a mix of stress, pitch and an error.
Prize for the best spell of the year:
"You just see a wall and then directs."
David Coulthard on the question of how to learn a street circuit.
Price for the most beautiful car of the year:
The prize is not awarded this year. The cars all look practical, but not beautiful.
Price for the worst finish of the year:
How many years, Renault is simply unbeatable in this category. The combination of yellow, white, orange and blue can not be topped.
A special prize goes to the Honda team for the worst green that I've ever seen on a pair of pants. If one has indeed eased somewhat in the season then.
What is your list?

Best driver Sebastian Vettel
Best Team: McLaren and Renault
Best Race: Interlagos (also caused by the starting position) and with a clear Silverstone incredible Lewis Hamilton ^ ^
Worst driver Adrian Sutil (Absolutely disappointing, not even the rain has been gut.Monaco once) and Nelson Piquet Jr. (Too many departures, no consistency)
Worst team: Honda and Williams
Worst race: Valenicia and really any new Tielke ala Malaysia, Shanghai and all the crap
Prize for the best spell of the Year: Felipe, you are World Champion ^ ^
Price for the most beautiful car of the year: McLaren
Price for the worst finish of the year: David Coulthard's Red Bull in Interlagos.Ein dream of white and only white .... so major making a cross-section halt.Anstatt his career, Williams 1994 snout, tail and silver chassis design in Red Bull or where but only white? ^ ^
Price for the worst performance of the year reporter Kai Ebel and his joke (inger) attack at Interlagos ^ ^
Prize for Best Performance Reporter of the Year: Team KROSS Premiere (Keep racing uncle Jaques Schulz and Marc Surer Surer Speedy (Alltime Favorites) ^ ^
For best races: Spa and Interlagos were really epic races and among the best racing has to offer. I am always nervous but these comments "between the start and the last 5 rounds but nothing happened." This can be read in forums and Keke Rosberg has said about the Brazil race. Utter nonsense. First, there are times in every race stages, with fewer passes, but secondly, both races have consistently offered some interesting scenes. In the spa there were others Kovalainen, who had run from the back through the field, at Interlagos, there were two battles in the midfield and Vettel, who could be involved through its different strategy forward and has caused tension. I certainly was thoroughly impressed by both races.
The worst drivers: Bourdais has certainly not exhausted its potential, but he also had bad luck. In Australia the technique has a strike, or he would be fifth or become so, at Monza, he has not his fourth on the grid can use (technology or their own fault?), In Brazil, he was urged by Trulli on the lawn, or would the more points there been. Since I have disappointed Adrian Sutil Nelsinho Piquet or more.
The worst race: I am still convinced that the course has potential. The race was simply unfavorable this year. On the subject of atmosphere, I have kept until this week a paper on the urban development of Valencia, and when you look at see Staring the plans for the area, then I would say that what today is still brownfield site, in a few years ago about the atmosphere of Melbourne will have. Here is a link to the master plan for the area, the final plans are currently in the completion. And before you now think: is it anyway nothing looks up to you what the Valencia already have everything put together, which is what. I say. Addiction times on Google or Wikipedia for the "City of Arts and Sciences" and you know what I mean. Incidentally, German architects and planners involved, the name of Gerkan what some might say (including Lehrter Bahnhof in Berlin).

Best driver: Vettel and Alonso in the second season Häfte.
Best driver in the championship fight: Massa.
Best race: Monza.
Worst race: Valencia, Monaco.
Best Team: McLaren, where one has to ask, what's the point, a financial penalty if it appears to have no effect.
Worst team: Honda.
Award for the dumbest action of the year and for many years: Hamilton, Canada.
Price for the most beautiful car of the year: Ferrari because of the paint, but they are not all pretty.
Price for the worst finish of the Year: Honda.
Worst driver: Piquet. But also by many others, I was disappointed. Who said at the beginning of the season, eliminating the TC would not even notice it has been mistaken. World class were this season, neither the World Cup contender, yet many drivers behind it.
2007 was marked by "Stepneygate" and the resulting feud McLaren-Ferrari at the green table, and of the internal disharmony between Alonso and Hamilton at McLaren. Whether one can truly as "not bad" estimate I doubt times. That's all not really nice.
Best driver Vettel clearly. Is the equivalent to a top car and he runs circles around the rest of the field. A few years ago, when he was still with pimples and braces in lower series was on the road and me since even enthusiastic, I have several friends abroad ever said something like how does it "on the boys, keep the eye on - future F1 World Champion! ". I guess, so very wrong I was not there until now ... ;)
Worst (r) driver, Piquet or Nakajima. Disappointing numbers zero (as expected, I think), so many test drivers would be a better choice than the two. Runner-up Kovalainen (amazingly huge talent gap to Hamilton) and Raikkonen (well, not like this year?). Bourdais, I can not see in this category, I think he has shown in his debut year, what one could expect from a Champcar-transfer passengers. He just has the misfortune in direct comparison with an over talent like Vettel to stand, otherwise it is a very solid, fast driver (it does not have four wins in a row Champcar title only with nose picking). Sutil can I see this same category schonmal not at all, who has consistently brought out more than is actually out of the car inside.
Best race, do not know there were some "interesting", but the most notable is Singapore out for me. That was something. But of course one can always argue about it.
Worst team, Honda. Were it at all? I noticed at all. : P Even Williams and Force India saw a total of more, and that's hot this year, something. Each team had to do sometimes, but overall ... bah ...
Best commentator Christian Danner, hands down. RTL has over the years, "mature", they have long been the exception not as cruel as it was in the early years, Schumacher, of recurring and seemingly ineradicable snacks and occasional misfires times. Danner stands as yet out completely, his experience and Know and his natural pragmatism make much of the sometimes too sensationalistischem and anbiederndem ramblings of his worth RTL colleagues offset increases, often even back when he would like to express clearly what the times mortise again is nonsense. Draws its power noticeably from the rest, which I find very beneficial. In addition, he can justify his views objectively or holds back otherwise neutral, which is also a nice contrast to all the Lauda, Surers, Rosberg, stucco and other black-white-minded "experts" who seem polarized ever take any party publicly have to believe.
Danner is certainly a good man, but unfortunately I can hear him, because I get pimples if I need to see, hear and Kai Ebel and Heiko water. Surer I like, because he is always so calmly, too. I always find it nice when something caused Schulz asks her hair drawn, and Surer not easy answers.
Best Driver: Heavy, probably the best performance have delivered Vettel and Alonso.
Best team: Well, there is the season that really? From the development of course it was quite clear McLaren. Sturdy and all the trimmings.
Best Race: Silverstone. Everything else was either not exciting or only towards the end. Monza was now nothing great.
Worst Driver: Heikki Kovalainen. Who can make a McLaren in a Toro Rosso at Monza so finished as has earned nothing.
Worst team: Rather than Williams Honda. Honda has also shitting last season.
Worst Race: Definitely Valencia. Worse wars on any route.
dumbest action: Hamilton and the red light
best saying is actually a nobody to me so spontaneous, I'll just keep racing ;)
most beautiful car: Ferrari, McLaren has botched it by his pig ears front: p
Worst finish: Honda has improved, but should still bissl: D
Best driver: Vettel. Great! Or Kubica coming man can because I decide.
Best Team: BMW Sauber.
Best race: Monza, Spa and Interlagos, too.
Worst Drivers: Jenson Button. Hopeless eternal talent. Lust Loser profiteer. The early retirement is a thing, so in the DTM. ;)
Worst team: Honda. Disaster. But is mainly due to the bad drivers.
Worst race: Bahrain. I hate this dreary race on tracks in retort dictatorships, where only the money wg. is gone.
Award for the dumbest action of the Year: Hamilton's red light. Stupid does not work.
Price for the most beautiful car of the year: The Ferrari is still predominantly red and looked a little out of harmony in form.
Best driver
Over the season saw Hamilton and Vettel.
Single Race: Hamilton at Silverstone. As he drove in a league of its own really.
Best team
Toyota. With Schumi II nor a total Hinterbänklerteam with too many failures, this year with some good midfield remarkable results.
Best race:
All races where it rained, because there's simply more going on and of course, Interlagos, due to the decision-WM. voltage.
Worst driver:
Over the season saw: button. Motivation problems?
Single Race: Massa at Silverstone. Catastrophic Presentation of a title candidate.
Worst team:
Red Bull lying behind Toro Rosso. Whether because Vettel is doing a favor when he goes to where?
Worst race:
Valencia. Yawn.
Award for the dumbest action of the year:
Ferrari fuel hose story. Delicious, like jogging along the mechanics, the pit lane and struggling with the hose while the car sits helplessly Massa (and probably almost over).
Prize for the best spell of the year:
I can think of none.
Price for the most beautiful car of the year:
If I had set myself. McLaren.
Price for the ugliest car of the year: green Honda with the "green" tire.
Price for the worst finish of the year:
Red Bull's white base model. Metallic paint is probably only an extra charge.
Award for the dumbest action of the year:
[..] A close second: Kimi Raikkonen and the firing of Sutil (Monaco)
erm ... I see not the case. The veteran achsogrosse coulthard has put in at the seben QUALLI (or free practice?) had the same problem and set the car into the wall. because no one says that it was stupid? that's gone now sutil degree, the super-race as a real balancing abgekrigt which is sad, but not stupid. (Especially since kimi probably more thanks to a masterful performance ferrari tactics run the contest has beeen at a dry setup ...)
Kimi then at SPA has not the ideal line on the parking Williams (nakajima?) and cleared for verseknt the car in the wall. how does eat mans wrong :)
imho qualified for the stupidest action of the year also:
- Ferrari tactics in allgeimeinen
- Nakajima for many 1st arg corner incidents
- Stewards of the art as they have hammilton punished in spa
my personal list:
Best driver Sebastian Vettel (although Sutil in the rain was still unpackbar well in Monaco)
Best Team: Renault (from rear to seasonal mittelfeld winner team in half a wow..)
Worst team: Honda. (Do not ask. In which the auction of the superauguris simply have not bought the car ... :)
Worst driver: Nakajima or Kovalinen. Both have to be very disappointed.
Gröster tactical error: imho ferrari to let it compete against Massa Hammilton. they would have run from 4 before closing raikönen supported no matter what the points were Whilst you now world champion. because in zeifelsfall arrives raikönen against hamilton. Massa only if he has NEN good day.
Price for the worst finish of the year: Force India.
Price for the most ridiculous sunglasses of the year: Nick Heidfeld.
Price for the worst preliminary reports: Premiere / Monaco. (Boris Becker and I do not want to see Verona Feldpooth. So I peep, not even formula1 tennis or American Idol AOL or advertising.)
Prize for the best grid interviews: ITV
Prize for the best laugh in the grid: the comic-Ösi aunt of the premiere with her emery mirror the hole will show in the nose of Ferrari. HI-LA-RI-OUS. kosksspiegelchen with her small 4x4cm she wants to make the right angle .... HAHA this is almost like the cd in the car Sogut gegens flash :)
pfu is more to me ... first a ned ... but there are still certain seasonal retrospective part2 :)
