F1 - Hamilton loses win, Glock penalized

Just for info, analysis coming tomorrow, because I only want to see again all alone ..

The race director has assigned to the race Hamilton a 25 seconds penalty. Fundamental to the "unfair" his conduct after the incident with Raikkonen at the chicane. Here again in the video:

Race result after the sentence: 1 Massa, 2nd Heidfeld, 3 Hamilton

McLaren will certainly go to appeal.

Timo Glock was also punished, said to have reportedly overtaken under yellow. He also got a 25 second penalty and loses his eighth place to Mark Webber.

Find the sentence, as a Ferrari fan, really hard. But since I do not abkann Hamilton, freuts me ;).

For me, the punishment is a joke and a slap in the face of every Formula 1 fan, the son was a great finish and then something like that, as a neutral fan F1 is because they pushed in front of the head. White said ehrlichg not know if I should do this to me Monza, somehow I do not have the motivation now to watch this .. and here comes from someone who has seen since 2002, almost all Trainig sessions and qualifying and race.
    Pity about the sport

I had to think straight again in the one screen at Renault a few years ago:

    FIA - Ferrari International Assistance

Find the sentence completely ridiculous, the two go side by side into the first corner, Raikkonen and Hamilton stays on his line going from the track. Normal racing event, Basta.

So on the video but he had seen him again admitted.

    A typical FIA everything ........

So sorry am neither fan nor mclaren ferrari, but it looks like hamilton without shortens due, would have stuck to back and then he lets it pass so short that it is clearly a beneficial Preference provides

This is not the seriousness or? Are there any known data to determine whether Hamilton's last sector of the lap was faster than usual?
Is there an article in the rule book, where is "let pass" is defined as "all cars in the entire own cars"?
That would be the only arguments that could convince me of the punishment. Real disappointing.
During the race I still thought that there has to Räikkönnen kept very nice and has deliberately forced Hamilton off the track. I've thought of nothing else on, so was a race situation is far from clear that it was intentional, and it also had to be done so under braking anyway

    4 letters .....

    JOKE

I see it like hammy. If it does, it is just so much that he has gained an advantage. If he drove more slowly, without which he would have had to cut short, he would come at the hairpin after the start / finish ever so close to Kimi.

Looks even know where Raikkonen goes, there was no place to come to Hamilton to crash because without the curve. On the straights he was behind the whole car Raikkonen.
Completely subjective decision should not have been Hamilton's sector time better.

The penalty was justified, Hamilton shrugs back briefly but will m wind shadow and out of date. That would not have been possible without abbreviation.

It should perhaps again as it used to make tire pile in the harassment, then you can fly with actions such as those just out of Hamilton and it is the end of such discussions. Beside the road are now times off the track.

It is not a question whether or not Hamilton shortens without reason, and not whether he can pass Raikkonen again later. The point is that he has abbreviated and gives it an advantage. This advantage, he must again return. If anything, he is gone just short of gas, but has not given back the advantage. He just has too quickly attacked again.

    The penalty is justifiable.

  12. Wolli 8th September 2008 at 08:13 #

First - Hamilton, Raikkonen was BEFORE the next abbreviate, abbreviating after he was BEHIND him, where was the advantage? Normally one would come from both side by side the chicane, when Raikkonen let him place hätte.Bin truly no Hamilton fan, but here are the bonds FIA and Ferrari deutlichst erkennen. So to make you break a sporty clean race, the betrayed, the audience and I think Ferrari is a shame pile that I can in future cross ^ ^

  13. macwoern 8th September 2008 at 08:55 #

What if the situation had been reversed. I'm sure McLaren would have complained as well and would now argue exactly the opposite.

  14. Wolli 8th September 2008 at 09:38 #

We all know that the McLaren appeal was rejected last year, thanks ^ ^

  15. Ralf G. 8 September 2008 at 10:22 #

It is indeed the rule # 1: Penalties against the nasty McLaren team are * always * needs. : O)

  16. NoteMe 8th September 2008 at 11:08 #

I think the penalty can be represented, albeit just barely.

Hamilton has opened at the chicane and willfully chose the acronym, as it would have been no problem, easy to put back and ride behind Raikkonen through the second half. This advantage he has not been compensated for by Raikkonen again just wide left, only to directly attack again.

At Hamilton, it must be remembered, moreover, that he obviously has a tendency to abbreviate (see Magny Cours), one in the whole campaign so may well go out of the calculation.

    -

btw: I have to think that the stewards would have penalized Raikkonen for his front wiper la source as well, he would have finished. That was dangerous and unpredictable (and stupid when you see how Hamilton came in first position) - something not heard on the track!

  17. Manuel Xavier 8th September 2008 at 11:15 #

Punishment is justified because Hamilton had the momentum he had by the short cut, not slowed down. You could tell that he would not have had without shortening the momentum to get past Raikkonen.
    That's it!

  18. braden 8th September 2008 at 17:58 #

since when it is forbidden to use the wind shadow? lh has indeed abbreviated kr but then again over left upright.

This is again a typical ferrari per decision. the other way around this would be fine never been made, because I go any one bet.
