NASCAR - Budweiser Shootout with new rules

I am every day until Saturday job (journalism) at the IFA and just got so little time. The update of today has just eaten my shit computer, which is replaced in the not too distant future to something new and then ritually burned. (No more Fujitsu Siemens).

Therefore, only very briefly

- Edwards and Busch take the next six races on probation. One, I think, unwise decision, because that takes a possible duel, of course, stupid. If you would not dare to drive a little bit bumpy, then the rivalry with nothing. Why is NASCAR does that, is beyond me, because a high cooked by the media battle for the Chase would not be so uninteresting.

- Every few years back - a new format for the Budweiser Shootout. And this time they have built real crap. Instead of inviting as before all the drivers who were times last year on pole and / or had won the shootout, it now loads only the six first driver to the respective manufacturers. Throughout the course pays for Owners Points. For the small teams is a bad blow, because it deprives them of perhaps the best way to present the season opener at Daytona sponsors. It would under the old rules of Furniture Row Joe Nemecheck in shootout 09 had been there. He can now forget. It also punishes the small teams that need to wade through before the "go or go home" quality, in a moment.

And why do you do that? Because this year the competition brand "Coors" is sponsoring the poles and you probably will not say the Budweiser Event "Junior, who won the Coors Pole XY on the Bud Pole stands." Stupid marketing decisions.

And what else?
As I said, the time is right now a very good idea. Let's see when I create the preview weekend. Will probably be Friday night.
