In the second part of the interview with Pete Finch Robbie Weiss of NASCAR, it's cut off date fot the TV rights. Gist:
Question: "This means that waiting for an exclusive NASCAR partner and not send the Sprint Cup at a pan-European channels such as 'sport €' or 'NASN' is?
White: "Correct."
Weiss says it with flowers pretty clear. Premiere has ousted the NASCAR, you're pretty unhappy about it, but has also found that there are no alternatives to premiere in Germany. The DSF has flagged, Euro Sports, MotorsTV and NASN / ESPN does not come into question, nor the traditional channels like ARD, etc. If that is only premiere that go with the word "NASCAR" at the moment but apparently running for cover. As long as things in Bundesliga rights does nothing, so long will continue in all things NASCAR remained quiet. And the more expensive the rights to Premiere, the lower the chance that the NASCAR 2009 will be seen again in Germany.
The interview also shows that NASCAR definitely think about how to better here comes on the market. In Canada and Mexico has one, along with the people there are races in the NWS, made their own series on the legs. That's what seems to be the path that one for Germany, at least in my head. After all, doing so is too little when it comes to sports like NASCAR, has since last year, the Speedcar Series in Asia and Arabia went on the stage. That was more of a former "All Star" event, but I got the grand race between salting, Alesi and Morbidelli still well remembered. Just as one could establish a series in Germany.
But that will probably take another few years. Hopefully, the live images more quickly.
