Pretty much variety in NASCAR in recent weeks. Follows after the first racetrack appearance rate for the year is now number one in New Hamsphire. The course is so straight with a length of one mile but not so completely under the term short track, but hardly noticeable banking of only 12 degrees but then just make the matter back to something special. In addition, the banking is progressive, it is so steep, the higher you go. He is the course in Martinsville not entirely dissimilar, except that it's here a little longer straight, and thus higher top speeds can be achieved. And that is exactly a problem in New Hampshire. The route (opened 1990) is primarily because it became known that here in 2000 Adam Petty and Kenny Irwin Jr. lost their lives. Because of these accidents led to NASCAR, the "safe wall" one. That defused the security problem a bit, but the track remained vulnerable to accidents, which meant that they usually saw 10-12 Cautions per race. Once the track was then resurfaced a few years ago, there were changes but also das. The last two races, six, or seven Cautions.
Through the many changes the course has lost its sharpness, which is good, but on the other hand, he no longer calls the driver as much. Important in this race is definitely the engine / brake combination. It takes a lot of torque to get out of the tight curves, but also has good brakes, purely down to play. That really says everything for Ford, on such routes have a good overall package. Of course we should not forget Toyota, led by Kyle Busch, the call is so slow as the first title contender, since he seems to be fast on all courses. It is not just a run he has time, he is consistently fast. Who is not only fast in the spring, but also in the summer and wins, has a good chance.
Like the Dodge will beat themselves is probably more uncertain. They were on the tight courses this year, not so good, but much more on the fast ovals. But as we saw last weekend, seems to have not only found something for the fast long-distance races at Dodge. At Hendrick I am a little uncertain. Jimmie Johnson won in Phoenix, so the Chevy goes on such courses. Added to this is that New Hampshire is one of the courses on which feels very junior. Since then a surprise would be possible.
But this season it looks when it comes to winning only one constant to give. And if Kyle Busch once caught a bad day, then everyone can get out of the Top 15 in New Hampshire victory.
Because football: The race will start as short as practical after 20:00 clock. As you will see both need / can.
And what else?
For vote on the best German F1 driver (see an entry below), Nick Heidfeld, caught up significantly thanks to a persistent action of an IP range. BMW of the votes were not, I've checked :)
Preview for the rest of the DTM is coming tomorrow night.
