If you wanted to convince someone of NASCAR racing - yesterday's race in Las Vegas would be a good example. It really had everything you could want. Hearty tackles, desperate pilot, interesting pit strategy, drama and exhausted drivers. For over three hours, the NASCAR teams battling for victory and to the penultimate round was never quite clear who won the race. In other words, Monday's race in Las Vegas was the best race of the season so far.
Even the race of the Nationwide Series on Saturday hinted that it would go hard on the track this year to the point. 13 Yellow light phases were a new record and presented the Cup drivers with 11 Caution also reached a new record. Here, the track is actually not much different than other 1.5 miles ovals, but apparently has been the renovation two years ago, the course is a completely different pattern. 
The 20 degree banking, it is likely to give the race the right flavor. Anyway, it was a good point of contrast to the lame race at Fontana the week before. From the beginning it was all right to the point. It was fought for the lead, but behind it was long before the race was fairly set. Due to the many accidents and yellow light phase, the race got to a completely different twist, because suddenly half the field, including some favorites was a game back. From the number came out only a few, because there's only one break in each "Lucky Dog" is. To this place was hard fought and well worth seeing. In front was a long time Kyle Busch in a good position, but towards the end he ran out of air. From the middle of the race it was clear that Ford once again were very strong. Carl Edwards crew made a mistake, so he had to the end of the lead lap, but battled back in the top flight soon. Who would win, beating the Edwards had. The crew of Junior tried it with a bold strategy game in which you did not make a pit stop Earnhardt, so that he was in the lead. Previously, to 10th place and had not really been on the way forward. The decision to leave him out there was brave, because he had a good 20 laps on his tires and was also empty the tank than its competitors. Toyota is not a bad move. Kyle Busch drove away as usual, almost at the beginning of the front and has long been in the top group. Even Tony Stewart was once briefly in the lead. But somehow lose like last year, Toyota's already racing towards the end of her performance. If FOX is also puzzling, why this might be. Kyle Busch was clearly well on the Shortruns, but Stewart was better in the long runs. It can not be because you basically to "just" vote. Nevertheless, Toyota is the end of the juice. Hendrick Motorsports has a bad start this season. 
The second place of Junior can not wegtäuschen about it, because in the final laps, Earnhardt Jr. did not stand a chance against the eventual winner Carl Edwards and had to defend himself to the still of the onrushing Greg Biffle. After the race Earnhardt was also extremely frustrated feeling, what I have been a little surprised. Things went better for Dodge, even if there could not be satisfied. Somehow Kasey Kahne slipped at the very beginning in the large group of those who were a lap back, and it took a long time until he was again front of it. But then it went well and he reached a place in the top ten. When Ganassi saw it but not nearly as good. Montoya, Sorenson and Franchitti fell on hard times during the race. This was also true for Ryan Newman. Kurt Busch was just ahead even think the pace could not hold in the long run.
It was a bright spot of RCR. Harvick finished fourth, after all, what is definitely something. However, it was admitted that at any time in the race the car was too slow and you should not forget that many of the favorites ausfielen or had to struggle with problems. Usually you will find the front nor Johnson, the Busch brothers, Stewart and Gordon. As good as it does so is still insufficient and it is hoped probably in the RCR camp on the short-track season.
Rosy on the other hand at Ford. Two victories in two very different routes in a row and in a very dominant way. 
Kenseth would not be kicked out, a triple victory would have been possible. After a weak performance at Daytona, the Ford sudden dominance in the CoT is somewhat surprising. You had a safe for the short tracks and concrete paths on the screen, but not for the ultra-fast 1.5 miles ovals. Roush / Fenway has put a great package and Edwards is one that you absolutely trust and a championship title would be.
So it was a very good race yesterday, but unfortunately there were a few accidents. Tony Stewart blew a front tire in the middle of Turn 1 and he scored almost full speed into the wall. The impact was very hard, even when he was sideways and Stewart took forever to come out of the car. As was announced today that he has injured an ankle too. A few laps later, Kurt Busch had an identical accident. He remained unhurt, but was pretty shaky, as he was out of the car accident, Jeff Gordon stieg.Den terrible. He touched on Restart at the exit of Turn 2 Matt Kenseth, turned inward, and then struck at the height of the front left side of the wall. The car disintegrated into its constituent parts, the radiator was flying from the inner wall to the middle of the track and for a moment you had to fear that Gordon had gotten something. But could not get out of the car unhurt. Had he taken just one meter further back, the thing would have probably been different. Two things are: Carl Edward's car failed the inspection after the race. There was a cover for an oil thing. The victory left him, but you will probably punish the team. Why are stupid because of a cover? Because this oil is cooled better and it has a competitive advantage.
AJ Allmendinger at Red Bull will probably be replaced for a few races. It is extremely dissatisfied with him because he can no longer qualify. Talking to replace David Stremme and Sterling Marlin.
WTCC - Seat Masterfully / Farfus disqualified
Two good races supplied the WTCC from the start of the season, where we also have to say that the course in Curitiba zulßt really good race. The BMW was in the infield significantly better than the seat, but were soon on the straights, bang came the TDI and the BMW came in the wake unspecified but even lost ground. ELMS MotorsTV lose rights
Euro Sports has today announced that for the next three years, the rights to the 24H of Le Mans and has acquired the European Le Mans Series. It had already announced last year that 2008 would show MotorsTV probably not the race in Le Mans, but I was so far assumed that you have the race of the ELMS definitely safe. MotorsTV is plagued by the rising price of global TV rights. The small transmitter has no budget and can not hold against the euro against sports or pay-TV channels. On the other hand, it also has some screwed up themselves. The BTCC would be able to have, according to my information (this year), the release of Bush-rights two years ago was not a result of NASCAR. If MotorsTV least still smaller junior series, such as the Formula BMW and Formula Renault would bring live - but even here there are, if any, records that come weeks later. Somehow I have a bad feeling about things MotorsTV.

Two. Sky Sports in England and AB Moteurs in France. Sky is a little hard to get here (and expensive), AB offers a live stream on the net, but since I do not know what the cost.
