Fuel injected engines in NASCAR?
Perhaps in 2010? When NASCAR Sprint Cup director John Darby, a few weeks ago, raised the issue of 'fuel injected' racing engines in NASCAR, it raised eyebrows. -
We're told the hottest up-and-coming Sprint Cup free agent is Brad Kesolowski. Nobody knows where he'll end up, but speculation's focused on Roger Penske's #12 car. Today, an anonymous tipster spotted Kesolowski meeting with Penske. Full report below.

Der nun gültige Entwicklungsstopp gilt für den Großteil der Fahrzeugkomponenten, insbesondere die Aerodynamikbauteile, Sicherheitszelle und -käfig, Radträger, Lenkungssystem und Motor. 2010 wird dann mit den identischen Autos gefahren wie 2009, es werden also keine neuen Fahrzeuge nach bisherigem Entwicklungsstand gebaut. Bei den Jahreswagen – für die schon immer ein Entwicklungsstopp galt – darf künftig in noch weniger Bereichen modfiziert werden als bisher. Eingefroren werden nun auch dort die Luftführung im und unter dem Auto sowie das Motorenumfeld.

The number of staff allowed in each team is rumoured to be reducing to a maximum of 350 next year, with a further drop to 280 in 2011. Apparently this will largely depend on whether or not the team is buying in parts from external suppliers.
